What I love about this panel is how mesmerized by Torrin's cock Allison is -- how 110% of her attention is focused on it and how you can plainly see how much she yearns to please him and his cock with her oral skills and how religiously dedicated she is with respect to fulfilling his desires!
This turned into a minor blog post, don't mind me:
Stable diffusion works best on single character scenes in standard poses. Pinups basically. It's also pretty good at backgrounds.
The issue is that it doesn't reliably understand relative conditional statements or adjectives. So if you prompt it "a blue ball on top of a red box", it will give you that... sometimes - but you'll also get random combinations of red, blue, ball and box. It gets worse the more adjectives and conditionals you add in.
In the case of multiple characters it's almost impossible to apply the conditionals correctly. If you say "a woman with tan skin and red hair putting bunny ears on a kneeling woman with short blonde hair wearing a red leather bustier", you're gonna get red hair on both of them a because that's a common thing and you have the "red" token in there twice. It's also going to screw up normal features twice as much because there are more things in the scene. Even getting a single character that looks good often requires rolling the dice dozens of times because random bits will be screwed up.
I have done some multiple character scenes by inpainting each part individually, but the problem is you end up with a slightly different style and lighting on each part. Plus it's very time consuming. The patchwork look is a problem even on single character composite images, it's easy to accidentally stray into something that looks like a collage or that un-tooned homer simpson meme. The recent gold dress pinup kind of strays into that territory.
Dall-E is better at comprehension but it's proprietry and too large of a model to run on consumer hardware at this time. I'm generally not interested in AI models that I can't run locally and I'm especially disinterested in corporate mandated artificial brain damage. Even if you're not trying to make edgy stuff, unfiltered models are just better because they have a more complete understanding of the world. Even stable diffusion has fallen into the "trust and safety" trap and it looks like future developments will have to be underground.
The control net extension, which I used to make the latest Alison pic, is a major improvement, but it still doesn't solve multiple characters or animations. I think the possibility is there. I could see something being added like a segmentation map where each segment could be given different prompts. Temporal stability has been shown to be possible in things like nvidia's styleGAN, and some newer text-to-video models. At some point you will be able to go from a sketch animation to a perfect render. The capability in the AI model is there, it just needs to be activated appropriately. Similar to how chat-gpt is an activation layer on top of gpt-3.
I've done a lot of AI tinkering instead of drawing lately, and some people don't like it - but I hope everyone can appreciate that this an existential crisis in art. Lots of people are in "anger" and "denial" stages of grief. I've had some truly bizarre discussions on other forums where I try to demonstrate SD's ability to generate backgrounds and they will start picking apart some 3 pixel high blob of a bush in the distance because it's not an exact technical drawing. Like, have you ever seen a painting by a person? Bob Ross? The guy just smooshed his brush on the canvas and it looks great. A bunch of people were upset that netflix made an anime short using AI for the backgrounds - but tons of anime have been using crappily filtered stock photographs and 3D models for backgrounds for decades, AI could only improve this situation. Even big budget titles frequently use painted over photographs because even among artists, very few people can generate an accurate scene entirely from their mind.
A big problem is that a lot of people are walking around without any comprehension of what they're looking at or reading or listening to. They just make value judgements based on surface level traits that, in the past, have reliably served as proxies for quality. There's a bunch of big words here? Must be wr
What sells this panel is the expression on Allison's face coupled with her body language!! In this scene, she appears to have settled into acceptance of her new voluptuously feminine form and is eagerly anticipating the sexual conquest that her mistress is about to engage in with her while playing coy at the same time, and her mistress seems to be aware of Allison's carnal hunger, seeing thru her surface shyness.
Whats the prognosis on anymore slave girl comic additions? Its been over a year on anything new... been waiting like 6 years for this comic to come together lol
Total cringe rereading my past comment, but your work is so good it's hard not to geek out when I'm not masturbating furiously!
I've been looking at your old sketches in the downtime between chapters, and I get the sense that whatever comes next will incorporate some of your earlier works, going all the way back to the idea of a collar that forces you to obey. I gotta say, while I absolutely love the story it does feel like these past chapters (while being so good I can stop rereading over and over) I do feel like it's been rushed a bit to establish the current storyline. Mistress was terrifying fantastic and Melody was encouragable, but I really do believe whatever you come up with next is gonna be the good stuff. I hope you don't mind all this, we're all just hungry for more!
I definitely change to color of the scene intentionally to convey the mood, and I've tried to make different magical effects look different and stick out more than the mood lighting. The girl in Dark Altar is being directly influenced by magic, so her eyes glow. Mistress's eyes glow occasionally due to her innate magical nature.
I don't have an exact system worked out, I just try to make it look right.
Okay, here's a theory. I think the colors of the collars have different meanings. Back in Dark Alter, the girl's collar seemed to amplify emotions of desire, and in combination with a number of enchanted orbs in the room, manifested into a masculine being. Looking at the color of her collar, I'd say it could be Magenta, which is supposed to be the color of Harmony and emotional balance. I think that the girl in that story was an enemy combatant with some sort of magical ability, who was forced in that room to subdue her desire to fight by manifesting her desires to submit creating balance.
In Alison's case, her collar being blue might represent trust and loyalty. Torrin is the first man she's ever been with, something that must've been difficult for her, considering her past. Even leading up to sex, she trusts him in their day-to-day and with the massage. Now that she trusts him enough to have sex, the collar is responding to him, which could mean it's promoting a loyalty in Alison towards Torrin.
Actually, looking over this entire chapter, color plays a HUGE part in the progression of the story. It starts with Pink which is tender and compassionate, to Turquoise with control and self-sufficiency to black with fear and mystery, to indigo with intuition, to pg. 15 where Alison is literally Pink in contrast to Torrin's Blue, to sexy time in pink (back to that unconditional love), to Alison through her collar being the one who's blue.
Admin-sama, do you have a color fetish or am I just bananas??!
What would sell this panel even better than what you've already done with it is if Torin's shadow were seen looming over the foot of the bed that we see Allison lying helplessly on here -- indicating his presence in the scene and implying his approach and imminent claiming of her prone body and her utter inability to resist whatever he wants to do to her!!
Awww, check out how Matilda beams with effervescent joy at receiving the pearl necklace that her thoughtfull boss gave her as a token of appreciation the pride she that she puts into her position and her zealous dedication to productivity and laser-eyed focus to seeing a project to its completion no matter how long that it takes!!!
This is one of my favorites panels that showcase Allison! Nothing sexual is going on (apart from her huge breasts being in clear view), but the dark moody coloration, and the expression on her face sell this image even though it has no narration or dialog text to give context to what's going on within it!
"His footsteps had awoken her as he approached to return to their bed. The early summer breeze came in from the window he had opened moments ago.
The fragrant air, touched with the sweet smell of the cherry blossoms of the tree in the garden just outside their room floated across her. A cool breeze was welcome this summer night after they had retired to bed not more than an hour ago.
She stirred, and sat up to look at him. The moonlight lay across her body, softly highlighting her delicate features against the stillness of the room.
A slight smile appeared on her lips and an mischievous twinkle shown in her eyes as she spoke to him, inviting him to join her again, his body with hers. God! She was so alluring in this sweet summer night!"
I have to say, I just love this image! I think I'm coming back more and more to view it, rather than your last two animations (which is more of what I'm normally looking for, and are excelent in their own right). But this one... Her expression, body pose, her action... they all work together so well! Bravo!
Wondetful. You can see that she has accepted, enjoyed and now loves her new role as a woman. The collar around her neck and biting the lower lip are all signs of her submission.
Fantastic work, as always, and I especially like this one.
Just curious... since this particular blonde, as tagged, is a recurring character in these sketches and vignettes, several of them gender swaps, I wonder how you basically picture him/her when you devise these.
Is the guy someone who willingly wants the sex-change for himself, but maybe gets more then he bargained for after it happens (basically, "be careful what you wish for")... or, is he someone who has been tricked/forced into changing into a sexy little female form against his will, and now as a sex-slave, quickly has to learn to love it (or finds himself adapting to his new role quickly)?
