I kind of agree with the above. Although I have no problem with the current release rate it hasn't bothered me really. But if I had to choose I think I would prefer to wait longer periods before updates to get more at once. I'm not a patron though, maybe ask on the patreon page how they'd like the comic updated. Since you're doing it per page some people may not be okay with the larger sums of money being taken from their back account per month as opposed to the more manageable small portions once a week.
I really love your work, and I visited the site regularly to check for new work. I also can appreciate your time. But I have to say the frequency of releases dont make becoming a Patreon worth it. Sure it is 2 pages ahead, but the rate of release has really burned my interest with this comic. I just find myself frustrated when material hasnt been released and just checking less and less.
It may just be me, and you can take it however you want, but I think if you looked at how TGcomics releases material you may find you get more contributions. They have several contributors, but when they release, they release either a chapter or several pages at once. Dont know if thats a possibility, but I would rather wait a month and get 5 pages or a chapter instead of a page every week or 2. Just seems to create a disconnect with the story you are trying to tell.
I was the wondering how you could have such rich colors with an animated GIF but then I looked under the hood and saw the fancy scripting engine that swaps around PNGs in the overlay. Very cool. You've taken TG porn to a whole nother level.
Wow, those leather pants. Also, I can't help but involuntarily blink every time they do.
Is it a looped animation or are you using a script of some sort to determine when they blink because there doesn't seem to be any sort of pattern to it.
As a lurker, I really appreciate the respect so many of the commenters have for each other and for the author's work. Those of us who seek out (and create) tg art, risk being ridiculed as sickly deviants, but you'all seem like better quality people than most I read on Fakebook. Bravo!
I know a girl at work who has the exact same tits as those shown in the first panel... And yes I get the same reaction as you do every time I see them. And she know my reaction so....
Do what makes YOU happy with this comic, and don't worry about trying to please everyone else. Those of us who like your work will enjoy it regardless, and those that don't like something can choose not to read it anymore. What matters is that you, as the artist, create what you want. I, for one, am grateful that you are willing to share any of your works with us. I may like some more than others, but even the ones that are not my favorites I am glad that you have made available to us.
So thank you for all of your hard work, we appreciate it.
Willing/unwilling, restrained/unrestrained, slow buildup/quick action, there's clearly no pleasing everyone.
I'm going to try to strike a balance between a plausible breaking-in period and actually having some action. That probably means there will be some teases and some people will be upset, but I think we can handle it.
>Will this kind of limited animation be featured in all of vol. 2 or just in certain parts like the cover?
I'm going to take it one page at a time and see what works and what I have time for.
>Also any chance the slave girl's dress happened to be made from her old shirt?
I imagine the cloth weight to be different, with her 'dress' being much lighter. So no. I suppose I drew his shirt as transparent through most of the transformation but that was mainly during the acid-trippy part where the coloring is there to convey emotion and action rather than actual appearance.
No reason it can't be, Sypheria. I personally have difficulty interpreting any of her actions as kind or nice given that the story began with capture, non-consensual transformation and strongly implied threats of rape, but that's just me. :) I don't mean that as an argument against anyone's interpretation, truly. One of the things I quite like about this comic in particular is the way it leads itself to different ways of looking at the story and the people involved.
>Personally, I read her actions ("offering" her captive a dress and cloak, etc) to be much more rooted in humiliation than gentleness or caring.
Why not both, Jason? Yeah, there's an element of humiliation in it, but she's also not being nasty about it. I appreciate it a lot, too much humiliation stuff can go way too far for my tastes. This is nice and soft and just right for me.
